— Official Paramount+ Synopsis
Plot[]
A few days after Freddie left Carly's apartment, she is lying on her sofa heartbroken over him. Carly, emotionally, tells Harper Freddie made her knees buckle and that she wants to be with him. Harper tells Carly that Freddie has a girlfriend (which she can't remember the name of) so tries to set Carly up with another guy on dating apps, which Freddie shows slight jealousy over. Carly starts dating a guy named Troy to get over Freddie, but isn't too impressed when he can't get any of her jokes but gives him another chance anyway.
Freddie and Pearl's relationship is still on the rocks after the events of his birthday so they are building things with yarn, which Pearl says saved their relationship. Carly continues to date Troy and they go to Spencer's new axe throwing place where Freddie and Pearl happen to be there. Carly tries to be happy for them but can't hide her jealousy. Carly walks over to them and "compliments" Pearl's shoes which Freddie thinks is nice but Pearl can see through her and knows what she actually means.
Carly introduces Troy to Freddie and Peal, which makes Freddie jealous while Pearl grows an attraction to Troy. Pearl asks Freddie why he made things so awkward, again suspecting Freddie loves Carly, which he tries to deny, but he "compliments" Troy's shoes as he is jealous, which angers Pearl, who throws an axe towards Carly. Pearl confronts Carly and Freddie about their feelings and breaks up with him. Pearl leaves with Troy who also breaks up with Carly and starts a relationship with Pearl.
Carly tries to console Freddie, who yells at her for thinking about iCarly rather than the fact he is hurt from just being dumped. Carly tries to follow Freddie but Millicent stops her, asking for a ride home, who ends up being taken home by Spencer.
Carly goes to Freddie's apartment with froyo, to cheer him up and apologises for being selfish. She tells him she was just excited to have her Freddie back, which is why she acted the way she did when Pearl dumped him. The two have a serious conversation about their past and try to be just "adult friends". They hug and as Carly leaves, Freddie's knees buckle, revealing he has feelings for her, although he isn't sure why his knees buckled.
Subplot 1[]
Harper is approached by a former high school frenemy named Tinsley, who reaches out for help designing an outfit for an upcoming event named the Net Gala. Harper doesn't want to do the task as Tinsley used to torment Harper by judging her lifestyle such as her yacht being too big and her skin being too soft. Pearl points out that Tinsley is probably reaching out to Harper to rub it in her face that Harper is now poor. Harper meets Tinsley at Shay What?! to discuss her dress ideas, but they cannot get along, but Harper invites Tinsley to her apartment, claiming that Spencer's apartment is her's to seem rich. Later on at Sister Axe 2: Axe in the Habit - Spencer's mew axe throwing bar - Tinsey turns up after Harper invites her. The two argue about high school and how they bullied each other. Tinsley tells Harper that she loves her ideas for the gown and they end up kissing, starting their new relationship.
Subplot 2[]
Spencer tries to be a "normal" guy by wanting to get rid of some of his money after getting a review saying he is not part of the one percent. Freddie and Millicent try to help Spencer come up with ideas and Freddie takes this as a chance to try to get Spencer to invest in him again, but Spencer declines. Spencer soon decides to invest in a cheap business and decides to buy an axe throwing bar named Sister Axe 2: Axe in the Habit, in hopes that it helps him lose money. However, the bar brings in a lot of money, which annoys Spencer as he feels he is cursed with having so much money and he takes Millicent home.
