The book follows Carly and Sam getting a Saturday detention and they have to figure out what to do during the time being. But with the help of Carly's neighbor Freddie, iCarly is born, but did anyone actually watch the show? As the shows get better and better, Freddie notices that the viewership is the same. So How do they get the word out? Carly and Sam challenge Freddie and Spencer to a contest to get more iViewers.
