— Official Paramount+ Synopsis
Plot[]
In the cold open, five weeks following the previous episode, Carly and Freddie are about to go live with iCarly for the first time as a couple, with a Q&A and he is excited about telling the world as he wants to publicly announce their new relationship, but she avoids the questions that ask if she is in a relationship. In the Kitchen, Carly tries to get Freddie to keep their new love a secret for as long as possible so wants a special announcement that can take a while for them to think of and Freddie suggests cupcakes.
In Shay What?!, Freddie, Carly, Harper and Millicent rush in after getting a message from Spencer saying it is a matter of life and death, only for him to say he really wants to show them something. Not long after, Freddie asks Spencer for help as Freddie wants to announce his relationship with Carly. Spencer agrees to help and goes to his apartment with Freddie. Carly talks to Harper about Freddie wanting to make their relationship public, but she isn't ready yet as she likes them being in a "bubble", which leads Harper to believe they have finally slept together, which Carly doesn't deny. Carly comes up with the idea to make a picnic for Freddie on the Bushwell Plaza rooftop.
In Spencer's apartment, he and Freddie are having pudding and Spencer has completely forgotten that he agreed to help Freddie with announcing his and Carly's relationship. Spencer suggests 100 drones that writes "Creddie Forevie" in the sky. Freddie is unsure at first, but agrees to the plan as he thinks it is like a power point presentation in the sky. Freddie decides to being Carly up to the Bushwell roof the following night and wants to livestream the whole thing for the iCarly fans.
The following night, Freddie is setting up the camera ready on the roof to announce his and Carly's new relationship and she finds him up there, having left the picnic downstairs in Spencer's apartment. Carly accidentally closes the door which means she and Freddie are locked on the roof. Freddie, panicking, shouts for help but no one can hear him. Carly and Freddie talk about keeping their relationship either a secret or if they should go public. Freddie asks Carly why she doesn't want the world to know, worried she is embarrassed to be dating him. Carly reassures Freddie she is not going to dump him and that she is obsessed with him, but says she went public with Beau and the internet were judgemental towards her and she wants to protect him. Freddie tells Carly she doesn't have to worry about protecting him and is happy to keep their relationship a secret forever if it means he gets to be with her.
Freddie tells Carly he is in love with her for the first time which moves Carly to tears. Freddie finds out from his mom that the camera is still on and live streaming everything they just said. Carly and Freddie get lovely comments about their new relationship, including "its about time". Carly realises from this how much Freddie means to her and turns the camera on, saying she loves him. The two passionately kiss, happy to have declared their love. Carly and Freddie then notice Spencer's drone display "throbbing" and he kisses her, saying "I love you" once more. Harper and Spencer rescue the couple from the roof, bringing champagne to celebrate Carly and Freddie's announcement, but all of them get locked up there after Millicent removes the chair that has kept the door open, ending the episode.
Subplot[]
Meanwhile, Spencer is given an old arcade game named Possum Secret Handshake, which talks to people and both Harper and Millicent become obsessed with it, to the point where Harper misses an important event of her girlfriend, Tinsley and doesn't come home, while Millicent breaks up with Derek as Janine thinks she can date a young boy from Young Sheldon. However, things get worse when the game starts to freak Harper and Millicent out by threatening them and they ask Spencer for help. Spencer soon starts to play, however, and the game attacks him and Harper so Millicent has to unplug it. Spencer is forced to dispose of the game, asking where he can dump the corpse.
