Plot[]

IDragged Him - Carly, Harper, Freddie & Millicent

In the cold open, in Shay What?!, Carly reveals to Freddie, Harper and Millicent, that she has been offered a chance to win $1000 on a reality show competition and Freddie thinks Carly is asking him to be her partner which makes Harper question why he thinks this as she has seen Freddie get car sick in an elevator and he tells her that the elevator was faster than normal elevators, then saying he can't be Carly's partner as he promised Millicent he would help her with her Model UN tournament. Carly tells both Freddie and Harper that she actually asked Spencer to be her partner.

Creddie (iDragged Him)

Carly and Freddie reminisce about their childhood with Spencer.

In Spencer's apartment, Carly is watching Freddie help Millicent with her upcoming tournament and Carly is impressed with Millicent's competitiveness. Millicent thanks Freddie for help and says she can't wait to beat Henry Von Biedermeyer, her long-time nemesis. Millicent leaves and Freddie nervously tells Carly that he got a call from Millicent's teacher to tell her to "tone it down" as her competitive nature is getting too much for other students. Freddie is worried that due to this, Millicent is becoming too much like Spencer who is also apparently just as competitive although Carly isn't so sure and gets Freddie to remember how much fun they had at game nights with Spencer, when they were kids.

Spencer shows Carly and Freddie his video

In the flashback, a younger Spencer is seen teaching a younger Freddie and Carly how to play a board game and young Freddie says he has to leave as his mother has G.I problems. Then in the ICarly Studio, Carly is setting up to film her video with Spencer only to find out he has filmed the entire thing himself and Carly isn't part of it at all, which Carly is fine with at first until she realises Freddie is right about Spencer after the two reminisce again, but differently.

Later that day, Spencer is preparing Carly for the competition and throws ice at her and other things, as well as asking her to drink something which makes her feel sick. Spencer tells Carly that she can throw up in the cup, but she will have to drink the vomit after much to Carly's horror. The siblings leave the apartment and get a ride in the limo. However, they are over an hour late as the driver has been listening to Spencer's directions instead of the GPS.

They eventually make it to the tournament and find out they have missed the audition process but Tia tells Carly she and Spencer didn't have to do an audition as Carly is famous, which she thanks her for. Spencer tries to tell Carly what to do, much to her annoyance as he believes he is always right. Carly finally confronts her brother about his competitiveness, saying she loves him but she wants to be treated as an equal now that she is also an adult. Spencer apologises to Carly for making her feel bad and allows her to take the next shot, but she accidentally hits him in the face knocking him down. Carly worriedly rushes over to her brother, who asks her to make his story sound cooler, but she tells Spencer there is no way to make it sound cooler.

Later on at Shay What?!, Carly is hanging out with Freddie and Millicent, where Carly discusses with Millicent how neither of them won their respective competitions. However, Millicent believes there is always next year to beat Henry Von Biedermeyer, which worries Freddie. Spencer is then approached by one of the drag queens, who asks who Spencer's stylist is, ending the episode.

Meanwhile, Harper is approached by 4 famous drag queens to design their outfits for an upcoming gala, which she calls the most exciting job of her career since Dutch. However, the job is harder than Harper imagined as when it comes to designing individual outfits based on several celebrities - they all want to be Reese Witherspoon and Harper points out that they all can't dress as the same person. One of the drag queens threatens to fire Harper unless she agrees, which she does.

Later in Carly & Harper's Apartment, Harper is waiting for each of the drag queens after spending all night making them. They all come out dressed as Reese Witherspoon from different movies and reveal that drag night has been cancelled as the venue has now been changed to a Baby Gap store. Angered, Harper tries to find another venue for the event and tries to convince Freddie that Shay What?! can be used for both Drag Night and Model UN. Both events are held there with the drag queens also assisting the UN tournament as well as doing drag night.

Meanwhile. Freddie helps Millicent with her upcoming Model UN tournement against Henry Von Biedermeyer, her self-claimed nemisis, who has beaten Millicent in the last few years. Fredddie soon gets worried about Millicent's competiveness as she is being rude to the fellow students and even making the teacher afraid of Millicent, which the teacher has emailed Freddie about. Freddie talks to Millicent about her teacher asking her to "tone it down" and to be kinder to her classmates. Millicent agrees to tone it down for Freddie and gets ready for the event.

Later at Shay What?!, the tournement is starting and Millicent reads out the newer version of her speech that Freddie wrote for her that is a lot friendlier. However, Henry makes fun of Millicent's speech and reveals that his mother was the one who asked the teacher to get Millicent to "tone it down" so that Henry had a chance to win. This angers Freddie to asks Millicent to "destroy" Henry. Millicent happily does this and says that Freddie looked up all of the exports of Henry's country, saying they are pathetic like Henry, which makes him cry, runniing over to his mother. Millicent doesn't win the Golden Gavel but Freddie proud of her no matter what and they hug.

Allusions[]

  • The working title "iCarried a Watermelon" references Francis "Baby" Houseman's line "I carried a watermelon" from the film Dirty Dancing.
  • One of the drag queens' looks is inspired by Reese Witherspoon's look as Elle Woods in the film Legally Blonde.

Character Revelations[]

  • Millicent participates in Ridgeway’s Model UN club and is extremely competitive.
  • Mrs Benson used to have G.I problems when Freddie was a child.

Goofs[]

  • Sam does not appear in the flashback, despite having known the trio by 2005, but it is possibly due to her not appearing in the revival, so they likely meant that Sam wasn't interested in game nights.

Running Gags[]

  • Spencer getting competitive.

Series Continuity[]

  • In iHate Carly, Carly mentions RuPaul's Drag Race, which features the drag queens listed above.
  • This is the first time a young Freddie is seen in flashbacks. A young Carly was shown when she first met Sam in a flashback of iDon't Want to Fight and a young Spencer was shown as a teenager in iGet Pranky. The flashback also takes place around 2005, two years before the start of the original series.

Quotes[]

Harper: You know who wouldn't stand for this? Reese Witherspoon.

Freddie: Listen, I know I'm the most obvious choice-

Harper: For a race? I've seen you get carsick in an elevator.

Freddie: That elevator went faster than other elevators.

Carly: After all I did to get here, it's over just like that?

Tia: You were actually able to skip most of the audition process because you're famous...?

Carly: I acknowledge my privilege.

[Referring to Millicent]
Freddie: Apparently, she's so competitive, she already drove out seven other participants. There's no South America now. It's just gone.
